Germany's Highest Court "sides with church plea" - Shops will no Longer be open four Sundays in a row Before Christmas

An older story from late 2009, but Reuter's video description is revealing. Some have tried to put a secular or environmental spin on Sunday laws, but here we see again that it's the churches that are originating the push for Sunday enforcement:

"Germany's highest court sides with church plea to overturn Berlin's liberal shopping laws. Shops will no longer open four Sundays in a row before Christmas."
